Understanding the Release Control Room

Release Control Room Overview

The Release Control Room is your centralized dashboard for tracking and managing all of your recent releases and upcoming releases in one place. It brings together everything you need to monitor deployment status, resolve delivery issues, and prepare for future drops—without jumping between multiple pages.

What You’ll Find in the Release Control Room

The dashboard includes two main tabs:

1. In Deployment (Recent Releases)

This tab displays all links that have converted within the past 72 hours.

Here, you can track Pre-Save Analytics including:

  • The pre-save delivery status of each link

  • Delivery categories:

    • Delivered

    • Queued

    • Pending

    • Couldn’t be delivered

  • A breakdown of pre-saves by service, including:

    • Number of pre-saves

    • Delivery status per service

    • Whether each pre-save is:

      • A One-Time Save

      • A Future Save from a past release

      • A Future Save for this release

  • Detailed delivery errors for any pre-saves that could not be delivered

2. Upcoming Releases

This tab lists all links that are currently in Pre-Save mode.

From this view, you can:

  • Confirm that your release is properly set up for successful conversion and delivery of pre-saves

  • Identify any issues—such as missing Scan Source URLs

  • Add or update the Scan Source directly from the Control Room without navigating away

Understanding Delivery Error Types

For links In Deployment, any pre-saves that cannot be delivered will display a specific error message when applicable. These include:

Artist ID Match Verification Fail

The artist profile listed in the Future Save does not match any artists credited to the release.

Content Not Found

The URL provided for this streaming service does not lead to a valid page or release location.

Token Revoked

The recipient no longer has a valid authorization token to complete the pre-save delivery.

User Does Not Exist

The intended recipient no longer has an active account on the platform.

User Library Fail

The release could not be delivered because the location in the user’s library is no longer available.

Delivery Error

A generic fallback for any issues not covered by the specific error types above.

Managing Scan Sources for Upcoming Releases

If any upcoming releases are missing a valid Scan Source, you will see a notification inside the Control Room. You can add or update the Scan Source in-line without leaving the page, making it easier and faster to get your future releases fully configured.

The Release Control Room gives you:

  • Clear visibility into recent deployments
