This article outlines the pre-set channel extension IDs that can be used with Feature.fm Smart Links to track traffic and engagement by channel. Adding these extensions to your Smart Link URLs allows visits and conversions to be grouped accurately within the Channels section of the Insights page.
Custom Channels may also be available depending on your plan tier.
What Are Channel Extension IDs?
Channel Extension IDs are short suffixes appended to the end of a Smart Link URL. Each extension represents a specific organic or paid marketing channel. When a user clicks a link containing one of these extensions, Feature.fm automatically attributes the activity to that channel in your analytics.
Organic Channel Extension IDs
Use the following extensions to track organic (non-paid) traffic sources:

How to Generate Channel Links
For most Smart Links, channel-specific URLs can be generated automatically:
- Navigate to your Smart Link in Feature.fm
- Click Get Link next to the Smart Link
- Copy the desired channel-specific link from the pop-up modal
These links already include the correct channel extension ID and are ready to share.
Important Note About Bio Links
Bio Links are the one exception where channel extensions must be added manually to the URL.
Example:
https://ffm.to/yourbiolink.OIS
Even when added manually, these extensions will still populate correctly in the Channels block of the Insights page, just like all other Smart Link insights.
Custom Channels
Custom Channel IDs may be available on certain plan tiers. These allow you to create and track traffic sources beyond the default Organic and Paid options listed above.
