Feature.fm automatically finds your music in tons of music streaming services and stores for you.
In order to create a Smart Link page for your music, all you have to do is provide a "Scan Source" such as a UPC, ISRC or URL to your music from any popular streaming service and we'll automatically find your music in other music stores and services.
How does it work?
For Standard Smart Link for released music:
When creating a standard Smart Link for music that is already released
- Enter a UPC, ISRC or URL to your music from any popular streaming service into the "Scan Source"link
- Press "Scan"
- We'll use your scan source to find your music in all of the supported automatch services below
Supported Automatch Services
Supports UPC & ISRC (Most accurate matching):
- Amazon Music (Streaming)
- Apple Music (ISRC Only, but can match all product types)
- Beatsource (ISRC Only: Only matching tracks currently)
- Juno Download
- LINE Music
- Qobuz Streaming
- Qobuz Download
- Sua Música
Supports only Artist and Album/Song search (Less accurate matching):
- Amazon Music (MP3)
- Amazon (CD & Vinyl)
What if you don't find a service? Or my music is being added later?
If a store or service is not found, then the field will remain blank, but by leaving the store available, you'll notice the "Autoscan" function is on, which means we'll continue to attempt to find and match your music. Alternatively, you can always manually enter a URL for any services that are not found.
What about Pre-Save or Pre-Release Smart Links?
When creating a Pre-Save Smart Link, the "Scan Source" works the same way, except we'll simply wait for your release date to scan your release and convert your Pre-Save link into a released Smart Link.
- Enter a UPC or ISRC to your music from any popular streaming service into the "Scan Source"link
- Set your release date
- On your release date, we'll use your scan source to find your music in all of the supported automatch services
Supported Pre-Save Services
- Apple Music
- Amazon Music (Streaming)
About the scanning technology and troubleshooting errors
Feature.fm's scanning technology is a complex network that utilizes various methods to find your music content in different streaming platforms and services. Each service has its own unique scanning solution with its own nuances, data points, and methods for scanning. So while we work closely with each of the services, issues can arise that are unique to each service and require a solution that is specific to that service; A solution can require collaboration with the service and most often affects all companies that would be relying on these connections.
When scan issues are discovered or flagged by our community, we work diligently to investigate, identify the issue and implement updates that we expect to remedy it or drastically improve it. However, we acknowledge that errors may still occur in the overall scan success rates. While we strive to achieve a near 100% match rate, there will likely always be some level of an error rate. It is important to continue to validate your links and report errors to Feature.fm.
