An engagement is defined as any positive interaction taken with your song or advertisement outside of listening to it. In your analytics dashboard, you'll be able to see a breakdown of the engagement types when you scroll down.

You may receive the following engagements on a Deezer Campaign:

  1. Added To Favorites: a listener added your song to their personal "Favorites" playlist, the most listened to playlist for a user on Deezer
  2. Artist Page Views: a listener clicked into your artist profile on Deezer
  3. Album Page Views: a listener clicked into your album page on Deezer
  4. Playlist Addition: a listener added your song to a personal playlist outside of "Favorites"

The average engagement rate for a Sponsored Song campaign is around 3% - 5% for an indie artist, and between 5% - 7% for a more well known act.

For a website campaign, you will see CTR% displayed. CTR stands for "Click Through Rate", meaning the total amount of people who clicked on your advertisement.

The average engagement rate for a website campaign is around 0.2% - 0.4%.
