Introduction

Feature.fm enables you to collect precious data that helps you make informed marketing decisions.

In addition to pre-defined channels you can tag every link you share with an "activity". This allows you to track landing page activity by individual ad sets.

To add Activity tracking IDs to your links, add !activity to the URL ending, replacing "activity" with any unique ID. E.g. !FBad1

Can you give me an example?

Let's say that you've shared your latest release on an Instagram page of an artist named Cool Artist.

A default smart link would look as follows: https://artist.ffm.to/ReleaseName

Let's append !CoolArtist to the end of our smart link: https://artist.ffm.to/ReleaseName!CoolArtist

Now, visits of this page will also collect activity data and will be visible on the smart link insights page. 🙌

Note: optionally, you can use our pre-defined organic channel, Instagram, as part of your smart link in combination with an activity.

(Learn more about using channel tracking here.)

Are there any limitations to activities?

The name you can use for your activity has the following limitations:

  • Max 50 characters
  • No special characters
  • No punctuation
  • For direct-to-store links, you add the activity ID (e.g. !FBad1) before /store. So the Activity link would be: https://artist.ffm.to/ReleaseName!FBad1/spotify

I don't know what to do next...
