There are some prerequisites for your Instagram account to be included in a Facebook Ad that you run. 

  1. Your Instagram account must be set as a professional account (see how to do that here)
  2. Your Instagram account should be connected to your Facebook Page (to set up that relationship, view these instructions)
  3. Your profile must have Admin access to the page. 

To know if you have configured the Facebook and Instagram account relationship correctly, we’ll automatically display if there is a related Instagram account to the Facebook Page through which you are running ads. If no Instagram account shows up, then you should review the three items above to make sure you have the correct permissions configured through Meta.
